* You cannot pause during JPEG playback.
Note
If DVD playback is paused for approximately one
hour, the system automatically turns off.
Tip
If a DVD has more than two titles, you cannot go to the
next title or go back to the preceding title by pressing
.
or >. These buttons work only within a single
title. If you want to go to the next title or go back to
preceding title, press DVD TOP MENU or DVD
MENU and then select the title you want to go to from
the Control Menu.

Resuming Playback from
the Point Where You
Stopped the Disc

(Resume Play)

When you stop the disc, the system remembers
the point where you pressed x and "RESUME"
appears in the front panel display. As long as
you do not remove the disc, Resume Play will
work even if the system enters standby mode by
pressing "/1.

While playing a disc, press x to stop
playback.
"RESUME" appears in the front panel
display, so you can restart the disc from the
point where you stopped the disc.
If "RESUME" does not appear, Resume
Play is not available.

Press H.
The system starts playback from the point
where you stopped the disc in Step 1.
Notes
• Depending on where you stopped the disc, the system
may not resume playback from exactly the same
point.
• The point where you stop playing is cleared if:
– you change the play mode.
– you change the setting on the Setup Menu.
Tip
To play from the beginning of the disc, press x twice,
then press H.
