Quick Tips for Cannon FS200 Video Camera

Charging the video pack

Plug power cord into power outlet

Connect the compact power adaptor to the camcorder's DC IN terminal

Charging will start when the camcorder is turned off

 The ON/OFF (CHG) indictor starts flashing in red when

the camcorder is charging. The indicator will go out

when charging is complete.

 Charging a dead battery pack will take approximately 2

hours and 20 minutes.

 A fully charged battery pack should allow for

o 1 hour 40 minutes of recording or

o 4 hours 30 minutes of playback

To download video:

Plug in power supply

Plug in USB cord (have to open viewing screen)

Turn camera on

Page 2 Push button on camera (on bottom of viewing screen) Use toggle to choose PC Push in toggle to select PC Navigate to Removable Disk (E:)   (Be patient, the removable disk icon can take a minute or two to show up) Open Removable Disk and open SD_Video folder.
Page 3 To delete files without connecting the camcorder to a computer: Push button Use toggle button to select video to delete Press Function Button Use toggle button to select trash can icon on the bottom of the screen Push in toggle button Push in toggle button again to select one scene (or change selection first) Use toggle to select Yes delete from playlist also Use toggle to select yes...
