Designed as a replacement for single-function printers, the Samsung
SCX-6345N is ideal for users that require many of the copy, print, scan and
fax functions available on traditional copiers, but have limited office space.
Samsung's fastest MFP to date, the SCX-6345N MFP offers copy, fax and network
print functionality, as well as color and monochrome scanning, in its standard
configuration. Equipped with an integrated legal-size flatbed scanner, 50-
page ADF and 10/100BaseTX Ethernet interface, this multifunction printer
has a paper capacity of 520 sheets (upgradeable to 2,180 sheets).
Proving to be highly reliable, the SCX-6345N MFP provided an impressive
performance in BLI's two-month evaluation, completing a 100,000-impression
durability test without a single service call or misfeed. In addition, the SCX-

    GooD  The SCX-6345N includes the Smart Panel utility, a program that monitors and informs users of the status of the printer and allows them to customize the printer’s settings. Smart Panel is automatically installed with the printer software.

    NetworK SetuP GooD — The physical setup of the Samsung SCX-6345N required more steps than that of some devices in this class. Users stack the paper drawers in the desired location and then place the machine on top of the duplexer. Users must then open each drawer and insert three locking pins in place in the drawers.

    PrINt DrIverS very GooD  The Samsung SCX-6345N MFP ships with two drivers, PCL 6 and PostScript 3, that are compatible with Windows 98, 2000, NT 4.0, Me, XP, 2003 Server, as well as Linux, UNIX and Mac OS 10.3 -10.4 environments. The drivers tested on the Windows XP platform were well laid out and easy to use.

      SCaN fuNCtIoNS very GooD  The SCX-6345N MFP was easy to use for scanning of documents to e-mail, FTP server, network folder, workstation (local folder).  E-mail addresses on the corporate mail server can be accessed at the con- trol panel of the SCX-6345N MFP using LDAP.
