2. Important Safety Instructions

always be followed, including the following:

Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

Do not immerse in water or any other liquid

Unplug the appliance when not in use or being cleaned.

Pull out from the power outlet by grasping the plug, never by the cord.

Always check the integrity of the cord before use, if the cord or plug is damaged do not use.

This appliance should be kept away from hot gas, heated oven, electric burner or any hot
surface. Do not use the ceramic inner pot in an oven, microwave or directly on a stove top.

The appliance should always be used on a hard stable surface, such as table or benchtop.

Do not use the slow cooker if the ceramic pot is empty.

Do not cook directly in the base unit, always use the ceramic pot.

Do not use the ceramic pot or glass lid if cracked or chipped.

Take care when cleaning the slow cooker.

Unplug the unit when it is empty or not in use.

This appliance is intended for household use, not commercial use.

If the power or heat has been turned off for any extended period of time, the food inside the
container may be unsafe to eat. It is recommended the food be discarded.

