11. Move the winch-rope through the hook.
12. Cut the help rope and knot the rope from winch 1 together with winch 2.
You can secure this knot with glue. Now you can lift the trench cutter. By
using only one winch, the knot can be positioned into the hook so you
cannot see it and with both winches, you can now lift the trench cutter
into an upright position.
13. Make sure the hook of the trench cutter is positioned correctly and to
adjust, just change both ropes on the mast head if necessary.
14. The conveying hose starts at the trench cutter on the left side, goes
through the hook on the frame up to the lower drum on the mast head
and then down to the Overcarriage drum on the left side (looking from
behind). You can then assemble the counter weight and clip the short
end of the conveying hose onto the holder.
15. All hydraulic hoses start at the trench cutter right side, through the hook
on the frame and over the upper drum on the mast head before winding
onto the right hand drum on the overcarriage.
16. On the overcarriage left side, assemble walkway F and ladder G.
1 7. On the overcarriage right side, first assemble the bulkhead plate
(pre-assembly on F2) into the opening before assembling walkway E
and ladder G.
Now the machine is ready for work! For stability, both track frames need
to be in the extended position.
