Windows Vista Install the Bluetooth Driver After you have installed the Bluetooth Module your computer will display a Found New Hardware wizard screen, click Cancel to continue. Under your windows environment, go to Start Control Panel Device Management to check whether Broadcom Bluetooth USB is detected.

Go to the directory where the Bluetooth driver stored, double-click Setup icon to begin the installation. Bluetooth Driver is installing. When the screen disappears, the driver install successfully. When you complete the installation, the utility icon will appear on the system tray.
Configuring the Broadcom Bluetooth Utility Connect to Other Bluetooth Enabled Devices Before connecting, make sure that the Bluetooth enabled device NOTE: you wish to connect to is turned on, On the Notification Area, right-click the Bluetooth Utility icon. Bluetooth Utility Selection screen will be displayed, click Add a Bluetooth Device.

Select the Bluetooth device that you want to add and click “NEXT”. Select Let me choose my own passkey fill in the passkey and click “NEXT”.

The connection now is complete, please click “Finish”.
Send a file 1. Right-click the Bluetooth Utility icon and click Send a File. 2. Click Browse to select a computer or device that you want to send the file and click “Next”.

3. Click Browse to select the file you want to send and then click “Next”. 4. The file transfers successfully, please click “Finish”.
Receive a file 1. Right-click the Bluetooth Utility icon and click Receive a File. 2. Waiting to receive the file.

Join a Personal Area Network (PAN) 1. Right-click the Bluetooth Utility icon and click Join a Personal Area Network. 2. Under Bluetooth Devices, select the device that you want to connect to, and then click “Connect”.
Configuration Devices The Devices tab you can see all the connected Bluetooth devices. Click Add to connect the other Bluetooth device. Click Remove button to delete the Bluetooth device from this list.

Options The Options tab you can change Bluetooth enabled devices settings.

COM ports The COM ports tab you can Add or Remove a COM port for a Bluetooth enabled devices.

Hardware Hardware tab shows the Bluetooth device information.
Uninstalling the Bluetooth Driver 1. For uninstalling the Bluetooth driver, please go to: Start Control Panel Device Management. Then right-click Broadcom Bluetooth USB and select uninstall. 2. On the next screen, select Delete the driver software for this device and then click “OK”.

3. Bluetooth driver is uninstalling. When the Confirm Device Uninstall screen disappears, the Bluetooth driver un-installation complete.
Windows XP Install the Bluetooth Driver After you have installed the Bluetooth Module your computer will display a Found New Hardware wizard screen, click Cancel to continue. Under your windows environment, go to Start Control Panel System Hardware Device Management to check whether Broadcom Bluetooth USB is detected.

Right-click the Broadcom Bluetooth USB and select “Update driver”. On Hardware Update Wizard screen, select No, not this time and then click “Next”.

Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced) and click “Next”. Click Browse to select the folder that driver for Broadcom Bluetooth USB and then click “Next”.

Please click “Finish” to complete the Bluetooth installation When you complete the installation, the utility icon will NOTE: appear on the system tray. If not, it means that the installation failed. Please uninstall the driver and repeat the process.
