5 Get familiar with MCA features
5.1 Display
Your CliniScape has a 10.4" XGA TFT LCD display with the following features:
•
highly readable LCD (liquid crystal display) panel with a wide viewing angle ( typical +/- 80°on both
horizontal and vertical directions).
•
resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels
•
Minimum output brightness ( with control set at 100%) of 160 cd/m2
Underneath the panel, a digitizer panel allows the pen input and also the hand writing recognition.
The panel is protected by an anti-glare and anti-reflection acrylic screen, with a minimum hardness of 5 so that
the pen can be used without any surface scratching.
Screen brightness can be adjusted by using the Tablet and Pen Settings customization utility.
If you select it in the Windows Control panel, under the Display tab, you can select the most appropriate
screen orientation and set the brightness level with accuracy, both when you are operating with battery power
or connected to the mains.
