Using mobile Internet

Your phone has a WAP (Wireless Application
Protocol) browser which is designed to bring a
modified Internet to your mobile phone. A wide
range of services are available, for example, news,
entertainment, timetables, reservations, banking and
e-commerce.
Before you start
To use the mobile Internet you need
1. A phone subscription that supports data transmission.
2. A correctly set data account for access to an Internet
server.
3. A correctly set WAP profile for WAP browsing.
The settings may already be entered when you buy
the phone, or you can receive the settings from your
network operator or your service provider in a text
message.
To request settings from Sony Ericsson Mobile
Internet
1. Use a PC to go to www.SonyEricsson.com. By using
the WAP Configurator, you can request that a text

message be sent to your phone with the settings you
need.
2. When the message arrives, New settings. Install?

Using WAP
To select a WAP profile
1. Scroll to WAP services,

To start browsing
There are three different ways in which you can start
browsing:
• Press and hold the access key to connect to your
homepage from standby, or
• Press the access key, select a bookmark,
• Scroll to WAP services,
Enter the WAP address,
To exit the browser
• Press and hold
