Page 7: Functional Description
Functional description The automatic granules feeder “PowerFill” is mounted on the tank opening of the hot glue system instead of the filler cap. A filling level sensor identifies when glue must be replenished, and starts the PowerFill. A lance sucks the granules out from the storage tank. -
Page 8: Commissioning
® • Remove the tank lid and replace it by the baseplate of the PowerFill. Use the two supplied screws to tighten the plate firmly! • Attach the conveying hose to the nozzle of the funnel by means of a hose clamp. The lance is mounted at the opposite end. -

Tap the ready-contact of the hotmelt system and link it to X1, X4 and X5. As soon as the unit signals availibility the PowerFill is ready to use. For a superior control (SPS) tap the contact “unit ready” from the clamps X1, X6 and X7. -
