Carefully remove the scale, pan, scanner, and all of its components from the packaging and place them on a stable base where the scale will not be affected by any mechanical vibrations or air movements.

The meter is a none-linear indicator that assists you in the filling process. The meter indicates a cut-off point at which the indicator becomes very sensitive, therefore it allows you to stop filling at the desired weight with greater accuracy.
