The manual also contains all the information required regarding correct installation, operations and maintenance.

1 - GENERAL INFORMATION GUARANTEE I.S.V.E. MACHINES are covered by a GUARANTEE for a period of twelve months, limited to the quality of the materials and absence of defects in construction, defective parts as provided for in the general conditions of sale. All electrical components, damage caused by dropping, tampering, bad use of the machine non- compliance with the maintenance regulations indicated in the manual, plus wrong manoeuvres on the part of the operator are also excluded from the guarantee.

2 – DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE AND TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE The machine is made up of a four shaft shredder with rotating blades. Once the material has been put in the hopper and the plant started, the shredder itself grips and cuts the waste into roughly-sized pieces (about 3-4 cm) Thanks to the high torque available and the different shapes of the shredder group, different pieces of material can be shredded.

3 - SAFETY AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION SAFETY DEVICES The machines are provided with safety devices, to protect both the operators and the machine itself. The user is therefore warned not to remove or meddle with these devices. SAFETY DEVICES INSTALLED ON THE MACHINE All the moving parts are enclosed by protection guards which can only be removed by using specific equipment and will not remain in position unless anchored using the supporting elements.

7 - MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE General Recommendations Before proceeding with any type of operation, carefully read the instructions in this handbook. WARNING These operations should only be carried out by skilled, competent personnel (see paragraph 0.4 operator qualifications). All the maintenance operations must be carried out with machine idle, disconnected from the electric mains supply.
