    WARNING WORK AREA SAFETY • Inspect the work area before each use. Keep work area clean, dry, free of clutter, and well-lit. Cluttered, wet, or dark work areas can result in injury. Using the product in confined work areas may put you dangerously close to cutting tools and rotating parts. •...
  • Page 6 Never operate the product with a damaged part. 
 • Do not use a product with a malfunctioning switch. Any power grinder that cannot be controlled with the power switch is dangerous and must be repaired by an authorized service representative before using.

    • Do not insert any metallic objects into the meat grinder. 
 • Do not carry the unit by the hopper plate or head. • Do not run the grinder for more than 10 continuous minutes. After running for 10 minutes, allow it to cool down for 10 minutes before using again.

    Double Insulated Meat grinders: Meat grinders with Two-Prong Plugs Meat grinders marked Double Insulated do not require grounding. They have a special double insulation system which satisfies OSHA requirements and complies with the applicable standards of Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., the Canadian Standard Association, and the National Electrical Code. (See Figure B.) Double insulated meat grinders may be used in either of the 120 volt outlets shown in the following illustration.

    Inspection and Unpacking Inspect the package carefully upon receipt. If there are signs of damage to the packaging, carefully check contents to ensure there are no missing or damaged parts. Report any issues within 3 days from the receipt date. 
 We suggest you save all the packing material if future shipping of the machine is needed.

    Grinding Instructions 1. When using the grinder, it is important that you stand in the correct position. Do not position yourself so that any part of your body comes in direct contact with the grinder when working.
