HOW CAN THE E.M.S. BUTTERYFLY MASSAGER BENEFIT YOU?
The Wireless Remote Control Butterfly Massager is especially useful in the treatment of the following:

The Butterfly Massager uses a micro-chip in the remote control unit, to send specific signals instructions
of current and intensity to the control unit attached to your Butterfly Massager when placed over the
selected points of your body or extremities. These are also known as acupoints in your body which
are any of the energy points on your body where acupuncture needles are usually inserted or manual
pressure is applied during acupressure.
Normally a treatment of 15 minutes per targeted point or area is sufficient to give you many hours of
relief. However, there have been no contraindications or secondary effects detected when using for
longer periods if required. However, you should be mindful if the time using the Butterfly Massager
over exceeds an hour a day. You could notice some muscle soreness and twitching which will simply
disappear after a small rest. The regular use of the Butterfly Massager will naturally help you to promote
your own metabolism without any side effects.
WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS
Please read all of the instructions in this manual before using this product and become familiar
with it. Discontinue using this product if you suffer from any of the following medical conditions
or any of the following symptoms occur.
Contraindications:
Do not use the Butterfly Massager if you have one or more of the following medical conditions:
This device must not be used on persons with cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators or other
implanted metallic or electronic devices
Cardiac demand pacemakers
Epilepsy or Vasovagal Syncope
Following acute trauma or fracture
Following recent surgical procedures
Critical ischemia of lower limbs
Abdominal or inguinal hernia
Cancerous lesions

The long-term effects of prolonged use of electrical stimulation devices is unknown. Stimulation should
not be applied on the neck or throat. Severe spasm of the muscles may occur and the contractions
may be strong enough to close the airway or cause difficulty in breathing. Stimulation on the neck could
also have adverse effects on the heart rhythm and alternatively your blood pressure levels.
Electrodes used for electrical stimulation should not be applied across the chest because of the
exposure of electrical current into the chest which may cause rhythm disturbances to the heart.
The effects of stimulation of the brain are unknown. Therefore, stimulation should not be applied across
the head and electrodes should not be placed on opposite sides of the head or temples (transcranial).
The use of the Butterfly Massager pads over the abdominal are during pregnancy or menstrual periods
is not recommended. Always consult your general practitioner.
The Butterfly Massager should not be used while driving, operating machinery, or during any activity in
which involuntary muscle contractions may put the user at risk of injury. Do not use whilst exercising or
during any sport activity like swimming.
Caution should be used when applying the device over areas of the skin that lack of normal sensation
or are known to have sensorial depravation. Always consult your doctor or general practitioner.
Stimulation with the Butterfly Massager should not be applied when in the bath or shower. Do not use
the Butterfly Massager in a humid atmosphere (sauna, hydrotherapy, etc.)
Electrodes should be applied only on normal, intact, clean skin. Electrodes should not be applied
over open wounds or over swollen, infected, or inflamed areas or skin eruptions (e.g., phlebitis,
thrombophlebitis, varicose veins, etc.)Electrodes should not be shared with other people even if they
are related or if they are close family members. Each person should have their own set of pads;
otherwise, undesirable skin reactions may occur.
Self-adhesive electrodes should be replaced if they no longer stick firmly to the skin.
Some persons may experience skin irritation or hypersensitivity due to the electrical micro-current
electrical stimulation. If this should occur, please discontinue its use and seek medical advice.
This device should be kept out of the reach of children.
This device should be used only with the pads recommended by the manufacturer.
Massager results will be obtained. Special care should be taken when disposing of used or discharged
batteries, please follow your Local Council guidance.
