Product Introduction BeeSecure® Door and Window Sensor detects the open and close status of Doors/Windows through the distance between the sensor unit and the magnet. Add the BeeSecure® Hub (purchase separately) BeeSecure® HUB is a compact smart home gateway device based on both Zigbee and Wi-Fi protocols to manage BeeSecure® smart devices and upload the data to the cloud, which will notify the end users the live status of their devices Refer to the installation instructions of BeeSecure® HUB to set up the hub. *A hub is required to enable the BeeSecure® Door and Window Sensor to send notifications to end users with BeeSecure® smart home security solutions. 3. Add BeeSecure® Door and Window Magnetic Sensor Set Before configuration, please make sure the BeeSecure® Hub (purchased separately) is in active mode (For more information, please check the manual for BeeSecure® Hub), in the meantime the sensor unit should also be turned on. The distance between the sensor set and the hub should be no more than 100cm during configuration. Step 1 Open the BeeSecure® App: tap “+” at the right top corner of the Home page. Select “Door/Window Sensor”. If the hub has not been added yet, the App will guide you to add the hub first. Follow the in-App instructions to add the hub. Step 2 Configure the hub: Press the button on the hub. The LED indicator will flash in green, which means the hub is ready to add a new device Step 3 Configure the sensor: Press and hold the button of the sensor unit until the light flashes blue Step 4 When you have successfully added the sensor, the hub LED indicator will light in constant green (without flash). In the meantime, you will immediately receive the following message on the app “Device has been added” *If the brightness of the sensor light is weak, it indicates no sufficient battery power. It may result in connection failure. Please change the battery and try again. 5. Install BeeSecure® Door and Window Magnetic Sensor Set After configuration, the sensor can be installed within 20m from the hub. - Page 5 Battery Replacement Slide upward to remove the sensor body and leave the battery cover in its place. Use external tool from the gap or your fingers to remove the battery and replace with a new one. Reset the sensor (Restore to manufacture setup) Hold and long press the sensor button for more than 3s until the LED light flashes in blue. The sensor will reset to manufacture setup. After reset, the sensor will automatically search for a network to join. If the connection fails, unplug the hub and plug it again...
- Page 6 Notice 1. Place the sensor set at room temperature 2. Do not expose the sensor to rain or moisture 3. Avoid throwing or using violent force on the sensor to avoid damage 4. Do not attempt to open or modify the product 5. Use the standard voltage and current indicated in the “Parameter list” or a CE certificated power adapter 6. Do not place the sensor near other wireless devices which generate high power signals. The transmission may be interrupted among devices. Consult your reseller for suggestions if needed.
