    Assembling the Reader Attaching the MX-100 1. Slide the MX-100 battery pack into the OtterBox uniVERSE case slot until it locks in place. Do not attempt installation with the aimer attached to the battery pack. 2. Align the slot on the bottom of the aimer with the rail on the top of the battery pack and slide the aimer to the right until the locking mechanism snaps into place.

    You can begin using your MX-100 right away by downloading the ‘Cognex Barcode Scanners’ mobile application from the iTunes App store. Once the application is installed, simply tap on the settings icon and select “MX-100”. Timeout – sets the MX-100’s scanning timeout, in seconds, from 1 second to 150 seconds. If no barcode is successfully scanned during the timeout period, the MX-100 will automatically turn off and scanning will end.
