    INTRODUCTION AND GENERAL NOTES Thoroughly read the instructions contained in this booklet because it gives important information regarding safety for installation, use and maintenance. Keep this booklet in a safe and accessible place for further consultation. This machine must be used only for the purpose it was designed: test the coffee group I.M.C. S.p.A. Any other use is to be considered inappropriate and therefore dangerous.

    ELECTRICAL CONNECTION Connect the test CLAMPS TO CONNECT SINGLE MOTORS TO THE bench to 220V TEST BENCH AC socket 1 sweeper motor - black 2 sweeper motor - red 3 upper motor - black 4 upper motor - red 5 encoder mot. Sup - blu 6 encoder mot.
  • Page 5 FUNCTIONING Turn ON the test bench by means of the ON/OFF switch, the display shows: By means of the keys no.5 (-) and no.6 (+) select the desired menu, then press key no.7 (enter) to confirm. TEST CICLI GRUPPO With this menu it is possible to test the complete group without the use of coffee and water. Connect the group to the green connector of the test bench.

    TEST ACTUATORS This menu tests the complete group (once connected to the green connector) or the single motor (once connected to the clamps). This menu splits the display in two separate sections: the upper part is related to the upper motor, the lower part to the lower motor.
  • Page 7 GROUP MOVEMENT MANUAL This menu tests the complete group (once connected to the green connector) or the single motor (once connected to the clamps). Keypad function: B1 and B2 to move the upper motor; B3 and B4 to move the sweeper motor; B5 and B6 to move the lower motor.

    OFF MODE Press INFO+SHIFT keys to turn OFF the test bench. In OFF mode, the following data are displayed for upper/lower motors: Pulses read by the encoder of the upper and lower motors; Pulses set in program as stand-by and delivery positions for the upper and lower motors. By pressing the SHIFT key, the display shows the menu SYSTEM MANAGER which allow only the test function.

    OPTIONAL COMPONENTS In order better to carry out the refurbishing procedure, we strongly recommend to purchase the following optional components: SUPPORT FOR THE M2 GROUP CODE A 0113.VE EXTENSION CABLE FOR GROUP, CODE 03.01151 Please note that the extension cable can be also used to connect the group to the coffee machine, in such case it will be possible to leave the group on the support, thus external to the machine.
