DESCRIPTION:

This Owner's Manual should be used as part
of an employee training program as required
by OSH , and is intended to meet the
manufacturer's instructions as required by
NSI Z359.1
DESCRIPTION: The US-96760 Lifeline System
is designed for use as an anchoring means for
up to 4 persons, used where fall protection
and horizontal mobility are required. Per
OSHA regulations, horizontal lifelines shall be
designed, installed, and used under the
supervision of a qualified person as part of a
complete personal fall arrest system with a
minimum safety factor of 2. Qualified person
is defined as follows:

relating to the subject matter, the work, or the

(OSHA 1910.66 & 1626.502) requirements, for
additional information on personal fall arrest
systems.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: The US-96760
Lifeline System is designed for use with only
ULTRA-SAFE approved components and sub
systems. Substitutions or replacements made
with
subsystems may jeopardize compatibility of
equipment and may affect the safety and
reliability of the complete system
Anchorage points for this system must be
capable of sustaining a static load in the
direction applied by the personal fall arrest
system of at least 5,000 lbs. Anchorages- must
be
deformations. When more than 1 personal fall
arrest system is attached to the same
structure, the strength requirements stated
above must be multiplied by the number of
personal fall arrest systems attached to the
structure.
