Show me: change the video camera settings for

Optionally: you can select whether or not the
video camera is used each time you answer a
video call.
Always: the camera is always used.
Retry with: set how to retry when the phone

Network settings

This menu allows you to customise settings for
connecting to a network.
Select network
(Menu #.6.1)
This network service allows you to either
automatically or manually select the network to be
used while roaming outside of your home area. You
can select a network other than your home network
only if there is a valid roaming agreement between
the two.

Use this menu to select the network you use.
Automatic: the phone scans for available

networks.
GSM900/1800: the phone operates in the
•
combined GSM 900/1800 network.
GSM1900: the phone operates in the GSM 1900

network. This option is only available in USA.
UMTS: the phone operates in UMTS (3G
•
network) networks. You can get a higher speed
quality than on lower generation networks, and
use advanced data and information services,
such as video calls.
Connections
(Menu #.6.3)
Use this menu to create and customise the profiles
containing the settings for connecting your phone to
the network. You need these settings to use the web
browser or send MMS messages or e-mails.
Your phone is suited for connecting to the
network by default. If you change the settings
without first checking with your service
provider, the web browser, MMS, and e-mail
features may not work properly.
Creating a profile
1. Specify each information:
Set name: enter a profile name.

Access name: edit the access point name

used for the address of the GPRS network
gateway.
