    3. Ventilation - Carbon Monoxide Warning Warning! Only use this appliance in well-ven�lated areas. CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING CAN KILL Lack of ven�la�on can cause Carbon Monoxide poisoning. Carbon Monoxide is a highly toxic, odourless, colourless and tasteless gas, created by the incomplete combus�on of carbon compounds due to a lack of available oxygen in an enclosed space.

    5. Heater Safety Notes Always ensure the gas is installed correctly and check for leaks using soapy water solu�on or product designed for gas leak tes�ng. Make sure all gas hose and regulator connec�ons are gas �ght and the hose is not kinked.

    6. Appliance Overview Please take �me to familiarise yourself with this appliance and its func�ons. This product incorporates a mul�func�onal electromagne�c control device which enables power shut-off, flame failure and overhea�ng protec�ons. Three kinds of protec�on prevent the gas leakage and poten- �al carbon monoxide poisoning and fire danger inducted by gas leakage.

    7. Gas Leak Test This must be carried out in a well ven�lated area, free from any open flame or other sources of igni�on. With the regulator connected to the cylinder, slowly turn on the regulator and proceed as follows: 1.

    Shutdown procedure: 1. Close the gas supply valve on gas cylinder. Please note at this stage the heater will burn away gas le� in the hose. Flame should ex�nguish fully within couple of minutes. 2. Allow the heater to cool down for 5-10 minutes before switching the power switch to OFF posi�on. 3.

    11. Maintenance, cleaning and storage Regular maintenance and cleaning is necessary to keep this heater in good working condi�on and safe for use. All maintenance and cleaning tasks should be performed on fully cooled down heater, in flame free environment and with gas cylinder disconnected (unless the task requires gas connec�on e.g. leak test). Unplug the appliance from mains power supply when carrying the maintenance or cleaning.

    12. Disposal To protect the environment, do not dispose of electric equipment together with household waste material! In observance of European Direc�ve 2012/19/EU on waste electric and electronic equipment and its implementa�on in accordance with na�onal law, electric equipment that have reached the end of their life must be collected separately and returned to an environmentally compa�ble recycling facility.
