What does the Ferrite tube do?

The Ferrite tube in the Wizard CMC 9000z is used to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) in the ECU power supply output cable. It works by suppressing high-frequency noise in the cable, improving the stability and performance of the system. The setup instructions specify winding the cable around the inside of the Ferrite three times before closing it.

I have the 9000z and would like to order the tubing assembly connecting the system regulator to the compressor. It is so short and that and my moving the compressor is what caused the broken fitting. Our 9000z was ordered and shipped from the Seattle plant. Therefore the Seattle plant should be able to help us.
