The TravelScoot is designed for persons who have walking difficulties but who are otherwise fairly mobile. Make sure that the TravelScoot is right for you. Persons who are confined to a wheelchair and/or require constant personal care should NOT use the TravelScoot. - Page 6 Securing the TravelScoot The TravelScoot does not come with a lock and key. Due to its ultra-light weight, a key would not prevent a thief from stealing the scooter and running off with it. Any locksmith could make a key for the scooter, negating the purpose of including a lock. Therefore, it is recommended that you buy a simple chain or cable type bicycle lock to be placed around either rear fork on the TravelScoot.
