Source Mode When device is treated as a source, it can gener- ate different test patterns to the display under test. 1. Make sure the connection between the device HDMI output port and the display. 2. Use buttons to select MODE category and enter SOURCE mode. - Page 6 Sink Mode When device is in sink mode, it can read the HDMI source information and in addition, the input HDMI can be passed through to HDMI capable display if needed 1. Connect the device between HDMI source and HDMI display. 2.

The estimator can provide a basic link quality evalu- ation regarding the cable or any other HDMI link connected to device.
