    Chapter 2. Using the Mobile Application RUNNING MOBILE APPLICATION Installing the Mobile Application is required to run Storpia on a mobile device. Install Storpia on form the Google Play Store or from the Apple App Store. Now, you will find Storpia app on your mobile device.

  • Page 18 Auto Upload (iOS) Disk provides an <Auto Upload> feature to upload photos and videos from your mobile device to your Storpia M7 device automatically. To do this, you have to activate the <Auto Upload> function on your Storpia M7.

If you have 'Auto Backup' turned on, backup happens automatically once you connect a portable storage device to Storpia M7.

    Chapter 3. Use with a PC/Laptop Your Storpia M7 device can be used as an external storage device not only with a mobile device but also with PC or Laptop. You can use Storpia M7 as an external Hard disk or an SD reader while connecting to a PC. You can use stored data such as Samba, FTP and WebDav when you connect a wire/wireless network, not a USB.

    Mobile SSD Drive, Storpia M7 User Guide CONNECT TO WIRELESS NETWORK You can use M7 as well as SAMBA, FTP and WebDAV when you connect M7 wired/wireless. You should know the M7 IP address to be able to do this.

    Connect Storpia M7 to a wired/wireless router, cable modem or xDSL modem using a network cable. Checking IP address of Storpia M7 You can check the IP address of M7, if you connect a router to the WAN port on the back of M7. You should check the IP address of M7 when you connect M7 to a wired network in contrast to a wireless network connection that has a fixed IP <10.10.10.254>.

    This manual explains options based on Android environment. Auto Upload Photos and videos captured from your mobile device can be uploaded automatically to your Storpia ① Please refer to chapter 2. <Auto Upload> section of this manual for more details.
