Maintain an unobstructed line-of-sight to the receiving antenna.
  • Page 4 OUTDOOR RADIO REMOTE OPERATION: 1. Turn on the Power toggle switch. The red Low Batt light will flash briefly. If it does not blink at all, the battery is dead. If the carillon is playing automatically, it can be cancelled by pressing and holding Stop for at least three seconds. The red Low Batt light will blink when the batteries lose charge.
  • Page 5 OUTDOOR RADIO REMOTE AUTO LOCKOUT FEATURE: Position 16 on the selector switch will prevent the carillon from playing automatically for one hour. For instance, if the carillon is programmed to play at 10:00AM and you wish to silence it from 9:30 thru 10:30 for a special service. This can be done by turning on the Power switch, rotating the selector to the Auto Lockout position, and pressing the Start button.
  • Page 6 OUTDOOR RADIO REMOTE Specifications: • Schulmerich Remote Control System part number 036-2018-010. • Maximum range between the receiving antenna and the remote is 1,000 feet. • Up to eight outdoor wireless remotes may be connected to a carillon system. • Each is able to control up to sixteen individual system functions.
