Equipment Requirements Rope Wrench Always use the original Rope Wrench manufactured by ISC. Do not attempt to use a “home-made” Rope Wrench. Climbing Rope It is recommended that a 11mm to 13mm diameter, 16 or 24 strand rope made of nylon, polyester, polypropylene or kernmantle and that is approved for arboriculture be used with the Rope Wrench system. - Page 9 Be secured such that no loading or interference with the gate will occur. (The ISC HMS Karabiner is an example of an acceptable Karabiner). Harness The harness selected for use with the Rope Wrench system must be adjusted to best fit the climber’s body.
