Weight Limitations The KateZ Lift has a weight limitation of 250 lbs above and beyond the weight of the wheelchair. WARNING! Adding accessories or a different seat will increase the weight of your wheelchair.

Although sensors will prevent the lift from raising on unstable ground, never use the lift on a slope greater than 5°.or uneven surfaces, on slick or wet surfaces, or surfaces prone to shifting (such as gravel or sand).

DO NOT lean over the top of the back upholstery to reach objects behind you, as this may cause the wheelchair to tip over. Position wheelchair as close as possible to the desired object. Reach back only as far as your arm will extend without changing your sitting position.
DO NOT attempt to stop a moving wheelchair with wheel locks. Wheel locks are not brakes. • DO NOT attempt to lift the wheelchair by the KateZ Lift. This may result in injury to the user or damage to the KateZ Lift.

Do not use a non-authorized battery charger. • MANDATORY! Read the battery charging instructions in this manual before charging the battery.

To raise your wheelchair: • Push the blue button down until the KateZ Lift reaches the desired position or maximum height. To lower your wheelchair: • Push the red button down until the KateZ Lift reaches the desired position or minimum height.

Tilt switch operation Your KateZ Lift is equipped with an internal tilt switch located inside the housing that prevents the chair from tilting more than 5°. If you are lifting the wheelchair when the tilt switch engages, you will hear a beep and the wheelchair will stop rising.
General cleaning guidelines: • The KateZ Lift can be hand washed with soap and water. However, automatic drive-through car washes should be avoided as they may interfere with and cause damage to the KateZ Lift. Maintenance schedule: • Replace the battery every year.
