On when there is an upgrade in progress. There is no connection to the Internet when an upgrade is in progress. Do not switch off Eli while an upgrade is in progress! If the upgrade light is on for longer than 10 minutes, please call the helpdesk. -

If you want to connect more than one PC, repeat this step for your other PCs. You can connect up to 4 PCs to the internal switch on Eli. d) Connect the power adapter to the Power port on the rear panel of Eli, then plug the power adapter into a power outlet. -

Eli User Guide Set up your internet connection. Now that your PCs will connect to the Internet via Eli, Eli will provide them with individual IP addresses. - Page 8 Eli User Guide Configure Eli Once you have configured your PC to connect to Eli, you can configure your connection to the Internet. Please make sure you have your Internet connection information provided by your ISP ready. You can enter them into the table below for convenience.

Page 9: Using Pppoe With Eli
On the following screen, enter your username and password provided by your ISP. Re-enter your password to verify. Click OK. Click on change the settings of the external interface of your Eli and check if the radio button PPPoE is selected. If not, click Toggle Mode to select it. Click OK. -

You can now access the Internet using Eli! c. Using a static IP address with Eli To use a static IP address with Eli, click on change the settings of the external interface of your Eli. On the following screen, click on Mode. The mode will change from automatic to manual. You can now enter your IP address information into the fields IP Address, Network Mask, and Default Router. -

To configure Eli, open your browser and enter http://my.trusteli.com into the address bar. Enter your username and password on the screen. Once you successfully logged in, you get the following welcome screen. The menu on the left gives you access to all configuration options for Eli: General Logout, Change your password. -

In this section you can configure your Wireless LAN (WLAN) options and set up a secure connection to another Eli over the Internet by creating a VPN (Virtual Private Network). Click on Router in the menu on the left. The menu will expand to show the following options: WLAN-Settings and VPN-Settings. - Page 13 When you have finished configuring your wireless network, click Save. Your settings will be saved to Eli. You can now configure your wireless clients to use your wireless network. For instructions on how to configure a Windows XP PC, please see page X in this manual.

Eli User Guide VPN-Settings To configure a VPN between this Eli and another Eli you manage, click on VPN-Settings. The following screen appears: To start setting up your VPN, check the checkbox Activate VPN Support. Then click [Create VPN]. The following screen appears: Enter a name and a description for your network. - Page 15 To add another Eli to your VPN, follow these steps: 1. Enter the Customer ID for the other Eli. 2. Enter the Password. 3. Enter a Description for this Eli. The name must not contain any spaces. 4. Click Add. The Eli is added to your VPN.

Eli and configuring Eli to scan your emails and email attachments for viruses. If a virus is found, Eli will notify you and send you the header of the message. The mail and any attachments will be deleted. -

Each policy will open a number of ports on Eli to allow you to access the Internet. Configuring Eli as a wireless network access point Step 1: Configure Eli For a detailed description of the WLAN configuration on Eli, refer to page X in this manual. - Page 21 6. In the next window, select Set up a new wireless network. Click Next. 7. In the ensuing window, enter the ESSID you entered on your Eli, if you have entered one. Select Manually assign a network key. Click Next.
