Motion Control

Use Palm motion to control
certain device actions by
touching the screen with the
palm of your hand.
Use Smart screen to customize
your screen settings to make
the screen more responsive and
easier to use.
Palm Motion
1. From a Home screen, tap
> Controls tab.
2. Tap Palm motion.
3. Tap ON/OFF to enable Palm motion
4. Tap ON/OFF to enable each of the following:
•
Capture screen: Create a copy of the current
screen by swiping the side of your hand
across the screen. The screenshot is saved to
the clipboard and to the Screenshots folder in
the Gallery app.
•
Mute/pause: Mute alarms and pause media
by turning the device over or by covering the
screen with your hand.

Smart Screen
1. From a Home screen, tap
> Controls tab.
2. Tap Smart screen.
The following option displays:
•
Smart stay: Using the front camera to detect
your face, the screen will not time out as long
as you are facing the screen. Tap to enable.
