INITIAL FIRING OF PIZZA OVEN IMPORTANT NOTICE It is very important that the paint on your new pizza oven is seasoned before use. Your pizza oven has been painted with heat resistant paint and the paint must be cured and any associated fumes dispersed before it is used to 250˚C for 1 Hour cook in.
FUEL FOR PIZZA OVEN BEST TIMBER TO USE For best results, we recommend you use natural hardwood as this generates good coals which will provide longer burn times and a cleaner burn which is good for roasting. Soft wood is good to use for lighting the fire inside the oven and will burn hotter than hardwood but the coals will not last as long as the coals from hardwood.

LIGHTING YOUR PIZZA OVEN Your Pizza Oven has been designed to be used with hardwood. STEP Place scrunched up newspaper beneath 5 or 6 small pieces of soft wood kindling and light the paper beneath the wood. STEP Once the kindling is lit, place a few more slightly larger pieces of wood on top of the kindling and your fire should establish itself within 5 to 10 minutes.
