The charging process will last about 5 hours depending on battery condition. Note: Before using the Digit Primo device for the first time please make sure that the battery is fully charged, which will make the life of the battery much longer.

5. Programming via SMS The Digit Primo is shipped with 30s updates as standard. It will also send the SOS to a test SMS location, in order to send to your desired recipient you will need to send an SMS. The default settings are for MTN and changes will need to be made if you wish to use a Vodacom card.

6. Battery Life Many users ask what is the battery life of the Digit Primo? This is a bit of a variable and is thus very hard to quote accurately. Experiments have shown that if used for a whole day by a guard doing patrols, the Primo comfortably made 13 hours at 30s moving updates. Another test during the comrades where the runner ran without stopping, the battery lasted the 6h30min run as well as 3 hours afterwards, again on a 30s update.
