Sounds
Configure notification and system sounds.
1. From a Home screen, tap
2. Tap Sound and notification > Sounds for the
following options:
•
Default notification sound: Choose a sound
for notifications, such as for new messages and
event reminders.
•
Calendar: Configure event notifications.
•
Email: Configure email account notifications.
•
Touch sounds: Play tones when you touch or
tap the screen to make selections.
•
Screen lock sounds: Play a sound when you
unlock the screen.
•
Keyboard sound: Play a sound when the
Samsung keyboard is tapped.

Vibrations
Set the level for vibration to accompany notifications
and feedback for your screen touches, also known as
haptic feedback.
1. From a Home screen, tap
2. Tap Sound and notification > Vibrations for the
following options:
•
Vibration intensity, and then drag the sliders to
set the vibration intensity for:

Notifications

Vibration feedback
•
Vibration feedback: Tap the ON/OFF switch to
enable vibrations when the softkeys are tapped
and for certain software actions.
•
Keyboard vibration: Tap the ON/OFF switch to
enable vibrations when the Samsung keyboard
is tapped.
