FUSION Voice brings together Wi-Fi based VoIP communications with traditional UHF or VHF radio systems onto a single, vehicle mounted device. Built on proven Tait hardware, FUSION Voice can operate on any 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, and is optimized for roaming on the MST IMPACT.

Using FUSION Voice Powering on When FUSION Voice is connected to the vehicle power or accessories line, it will power up when the ignition is turned to On/Accessories. The FUSION Voice will startup in approximately 10 seconds, however it will take another 60 seconds before the Wi-Fi becomes available.
Channel Selection Commissioning a FUSION Voice unit for site includes configuring talk channels. Each talk channel can be either standard LMR channel, or MST PTT. A device is not required to include both types of channels in its configuration. Radio channels use the UHF or VHF radio to communicate over traditional LMR infrastructure.
Transmit on Selected Channel Pressing and holding the microphone talk button will attempt to key the currently selected channel. If the FUSION Voice has connectivity and the channel is clear, the device will transmit audio on the selected channel. Release the talk button to stop transmitting audio.
FUSION Voice firmware can be downloaded from: https://support.mstglobal.com/releases/firmware/ To push a firmware update to FUSION Voice, use the Admin Console to upload a file to the ICA and select type VMP_FIRMWARE.
