Fitting a Pure ChargePAK

Add a ChargePAK rechargeable battery pack and listen to your Pure radio wherever you go.

ChargePAKs are much more economical than regular batteries and signiﬁcantly kinder to

the environment, reducing the quantity of batteries that end up in landﬁll sites

Easy to install – can be ﬁtted in seconds

Charges inside the radio, no separate charging unit required

Increased battery life per charge over standard rechargeable batteries

Replaces the need for throwaway alkaline batteries

Provides many hours of wireless listening

This guide will show you how to ﬁt your Pure ChargePAK to your Pure radio. Before you

start ensure the following is in place:

Ensure your ChargePAK is unpacked and ready to install.

Ensure you have your Pure radio with you and disconnected from the mains power supply.

Installing your ChargePAK – C6L, E1, B1

The ChargePAK plugs in to a socket in the battery compartment of the PURE radio. The

battery plug is made up of a number of pins that will correspond to the socket in the radio.

The pin numbers vary depending on the type of ChargePAK you are using. The example

pictures below show the 4pin C6L ChargePAK connectors.

Page 2 Likewise the plug will have two protrusions that ﬁt these gaps. To ﬁt your ChargePAK simply line up the plug with the socket pins, ensure the key side is correct, and push the plug in until it clicks and locks in to place.
Page 3 You will know it is ﬁtted as it will click into place and you will not be able to push it in any further. You can now close the compartment door ChargePAK F1 To ﬁt this ChargePAK you simply need to push it in so that the metal contacts on the ChargePAK are in line with the contacts on the radio.
Page 4 You can now close the compartment door. Once ﬁtted with the ChargePAK connect to the mains power supply for at least 24 hrs to ensure the ChargePAK gets a full and healthy charge. From that point onwards you will be...
