    AeroScout tags that can also be accurately located in real time by the AeroScout system. The Exciter triggers AeroScout’s tags as they pass through a choke point, and those transmit a message to AeroScout Location Receivers or compatible Access Points in range.
  • Page 6 Network connectivity Enables remote programming, monitoring and software updates by the AeroScout Engine. In addition, the Exciter can work in offline mode disconnected from the network, thus eliminating the need for a physical network feed. In this mode, remote configuration and monitoring is not enabled.

    8 | Mounting the Exciter Mounting the Exciter Mounting the Exciter Using a Fixed Mount The Exciter can be mounted on a wall using the fixed mounting bracket (provided with the Exciter). The mounting bracket includes five optional screw holes that can be mounted to a wall, a ceiling or any other placement as shown in Figure 4.

    Mounting the Exciter | 9 Mounting the Exciter Using a Flexible Mount Wherever mounting Exciters with the fixed mount is not sufficient, you can use the flexible mount that provides both swiveling and tilting.
