    GmbH D Hennigsdorf 2.4.2. Setting the alarm ® QUISI is equipped with an alarm, which gives a beep at a pre-set time. To set the alarm: Hold down the ‘MODE’ button for at least 5 seconds. MODE Two short beeps are heard, and the display shows SET AL ‘SET AL’.

    2.4.3. Setting the time ® QUISI has an internal clock. To find the clock time, use the ‘INFO’ button. ® To set the QUISI clock: Press ‘MODE’ for 10 seconds, MODE until the display shows ‘SET TIME’ (after ‘SET AL’) SET TIME and four beeps are heard.

    COM-port ® Use whichever COM-port is connected to the QUISI , depending on your computer configuration. If the COM-port you chose is not free, you are asked to choose an alternative COM-port. Profile Standard form: The standard form: consists of the sleep profile with a summary of most important data.

    4. Recording in off-line mode ® In this mode the recorded signals are pre-processed by the QUISI recorder, to produce the features used for sleep analysis. ® QUISI records EEG features while not connected to the computer. Raw EEG is not stored.

    If the feature transfer fails, the PC screen shows an error message. You should react accordingly. Attention! If an error occurs, you can stop transfer by pressing TRANSFER again. After successful transfer the data in QUISI should be deleted. ® QUISI Version 2.0 (Stand: 28.06.2001)

    At the end of the transfer, you see the message ‘Feature transfer: ready’. • ® • Click on ‘OK’ to see the QUISI interface with additional buttons for classification. If the feature transfer was successful, click on Classification ‘Classification’, then ‘Sleep profile’, Sleep profile to see the sleep profile on the screen.

    ® Switch on the PC and run the QUISI software. On-line recording Click on the button ‘On-line recording’. If no new project has been created, the project window opens. Please create a new project now.
