1. Turn off water supply to affected piping. Remove all necessary
knock-outs required for your installation. Insert mounting
brackets into slots on sides of box. Attach box to studs using
mounting brackets and screws or nails. Note: Box should be
above water level of washing machine, approx. 42" off floor.
2. Install and cement drain line and P-trap assemblies to box
using 2" DWV pipe and fittings.
3. Place the threaded inlet adapters (B) into the box and secure
them using the included plastic wing nuts (J).
4. Place the o rings (C) included with this kit onto the inlet
adapters (B) and place the hammer arrestor elbows (D) onto
the inlet adapters.
5. Remove the timer valve cover (I) and place the valve (A) on
top of the hammer arrestor elbows (D) ensuring that the o rings
(C) are in place between the elbows and the valve.
6. Using the shorter bolts (G) that come with the water hammer
arrestors, ensure that the flat brass washers (F) are in place
under the bolt head and small o rings (E) are under the washer,
insert them into the washing machine valve and hand tighten.
At this point the adapters/arrester can be rotated to the position
that best suits your installation. Tighten the screws into the
inlet adapters using a ¼" Allen wrench.
7. Connect water supply lines to timer valve threaded inlet
adapters either by soldering directly (1/2" Nom Copper) or by
threading onto shanks (1/2" MIP), turn on water and check for
leaks before dry walling. Clamp supply and drain lines securely
to wall.
8. Drywall around box and attach faceplate. Attach the timer
valve cover and handle, connect washing machine hoses to
valve, and place outlet hose into drain. To turn the water on to
the washing machine, push the handle to the left to the desired
run time.

and workmanship, and shall replace, free of charge, any
parts proving defective in material or workmanship.
Damages or charges for labor or repairing material claimed
or asserted by Customer will not be allowed.
