Do not independently modify or change the pump and electrical equipment. Make sure that the system is integrated in an emergency off safety circuit. Consult Pfeiffer Vacuum for special requirements. WARNING Danger due to lack of power disconnection device Pump and electronic drive unit are not equipped with a power disconnection device.
Safety Proper use ● Pfeiffer Vacuum power supply units OPS 400 only serve to the integrated voltage sup- ply of Pfeiffer Vacuum turbopumps. ● Only operate Pfeiffer Vacuum power supply units OPS 400 directly mounted on the pump. ● Only operate Pfeiffer Vacuum power supplies in the available specification.

Remove the power supply from the pump. Unscrew and remove the connecting plug 10.1 from the electronic drive unit. The power supply OPS 400 is fixed with an adapter plate to the bore holes in the bottom Particularities in part of the pump HiPace 300.
Exclusively use the fixing holes which are shown in in the figure. Screw cable with connecting plug 10.1 to the electronic drive unit (DC in). Mount OPS 400 with provided bore holes to the bottom part of the pump.
Service The power supply OPS 400 and the bottom part of the HiPace 300 pump with the elec- Particularities in tronic drive unit differ in length. This gives two possibilities to fix the power supply flush HiPace 300 to the pump (see figure).
