- Page 2 Exhaust Vent This kit provides two exhaust vents that can be installed onto the top-middle enclosure. Once installed, two exhaust hoses can be attached for venting. Installation Ventilation For proper operation, the outlets should provide a minimum of 110 cfm (cubic feet per minute) at each port (220 cfm total).
- Page 3 Remove Both Fans 4. Using a phillips screwdriver, remove the eight screws (four for each fan) that secure the two fan finger guards to the top enclosure. The arrows indicate the four screws that secure the finger guard Hold the light-blocking plate as the last of the four screws is removed. The light blocking plate and fan will fall free when the screws are removed.
- Page 4 6. Insert the original screws through the fan. The screws should be inserted through the side of the fan that does not have a label as shown below. The air flows in the direction of the fan’s label. 7. Insert the fan screws through the enclosure and into the screw holes of the exhaust vent. The exhaust vent should be oriented so that the vent will point up when the enclosure installed on the printer.
