Safety precautions
The following precautions apply to the Owner and the Operator of escalators.
■
Ensure the escalators are free of passengers
and/or object before starting and stopping it.
If it is made to start and stop, with a person or object
present, this may result in undesirable accident.

After checking!
Hold an event, please give
instructions to or restrict the
flow of passengers to have them
keep a proper space in front
upon getting on the escalator.
If the landing area is crowded, it
becomes impossible for a passenger
to get off; this may lead to undesirable
accident.
Operation of a key switch
finishes, remove an operation
key and operator needs to keep
it.
If an operation key is kept inserted on
a switch, this may result in undesirable
accident.
Set up barricades when you
suspend the escalator services
to prevent people from using the
escalators like staircases. Else,
undesirable accident may occur.
Otherwise, a trip or fall accident may
occur.
