Enjoying your music has just become easier than ever. Our hybrid valve amplifier adds depth
and warmth and makes your music come alive.The X8 is an compact integrated amplifier
packed with features. From it's stunningly good looks to it's unrivalled sound, the X8 deserves
more than a second glance. Three years in the making, this 100 Watt hybrid valve
amplifier is a show piece. The impecable enclosure is milled from a solid
1 inch thick billet of aluminium and a clear top displays impecably designed
e l e c t r o n i c s a n d g l o w i n g v a l v e s . Yo u o n l y n e e d t o a d d s p e a k e r s o r
headphone to enjoy your records, CDs or music from your PC or phone.
The built in high resolution DAC makes streaming hi-def files from your
computer a breeze. Built in Bluetooth makes this a truly versatile amplifier.

Getting Started

Included is a powerful mains power adapter which will automatically detect the mains voltage
in your country. This sets to either 110 or 240 Volts and 50 or 60 Hz. Plug the power adapter
into the DC input jack on the left back panel of the X8. Next plug in your speakers.
Either book shelf or larger floor standing speakers will suit the amplifier. If you only want to
use the headphone stage you don't have to plug in speakers.

Analog input

Inputs

Plug in your CD player, Mp3 player, computer, TV or any other analog device into the RCA
socket pair named INPUT. For high resolution music, bypass your computer's sound card and
plug your PC or MAC into the USB socket on the back panel. PC users will need to download
the drivers

up to 32 bit and 384 kHz. You can also plug the DAC input into your android phone's
micro USB socket or your iPhone's lightning socket via a CCK (camera connection kit).
A phono stage is built into the X8 and is always powered on. This is designed to work with
moving magnet type cartridges and includes passive RIAA equalization. If you don't
want to use the phono stage you can leave this unplugged. No noise is introduced by having
the phono stage always powered up, but don't leave RCA cables plugged into the amp without
having the turntable plugged into the other end as this will pick up mains hum.
The grounding terminal on the back of the amp should be connected to your turntable's ground wire
