    Part General Safety Rules WARNING Gasoline is a highly flammable liquid. Gasoline also gives off flammable vapour that can be easily ignited and cause a fire or explosion. Never overlook the hazards of gasoline. Always follow these precautions: A. Never run the engine in an enclosed area or without proper ventilation as the exhaust from the engine contains carbon monoxide, which is an odourless, tasteless, and a deadly poisonous gas.

Always use tools, appliances, and lifting equipment of suitable size and po wer for assembly. 2 people are always required to lift, move, and assemble the machine.

The right side is mounted accordingly. Loosen the bolts and attach the wheel in the correct direction (the axle is pointing down, the connecting flange up).

The belt pulleys must be positioned on top of each other in a vertical and parallel manner. this is not the case, slightly loosen the bolts on the engine and shift the engine on the housing, to adjust the belt pulley correctly and flush.

  • Page 22 Part Setting Up Splitter During the filling process, please be careful not to add too much or too little engine oil, to avoid damage. Use the right type of oil (e.g. multi-grade oil 10W40) as described in the engine manual. Make sure the wood chipper is correctly aligned horizontally before filling it with oil.
