THIS LEAFLET CONTAINS:
1. GENERAL INFORMATION AND WARNINGS MUST BE READ
1.1
This carrier has been designed and manufactured to attach securely to a
variety of vehicles. The attachment of this carrier to a vehicle is safety
critical and beyond the control of the manufacturer. The user must therefore
ensure that the cycle carrier is suitable for use with their particular vehicle
and that both carrier and cycles are securely and safely attached to the
vehicle.
1.2
During your journey, frequently check the tension of carrier fixing straps and
the security of the cycles carried.
1.3
Drive carefully, be aware of cross winds, avoid sudden braking or hard
cornering, reduce speed accordingly when using the carrier.
1.4
Remove any loose objects from the cycles carried i.e. pumps, bottles etc.
1.5
Every time before use, check the carrier for the security of fittings or any
sign of wear and tear. Replace any worn or damaged parts.
1.6
If possible avoid any protrusions beyond the side of the car as these may
present a risk of injury to passers - by.
1.7
The maximum carrying capacity of this product is 1 cycle not exceeding
20Kg
1.8
This carrier is designed for temporary use only; remove when not in use or
before going through a car wash.
1.9
Be aware of the additional headroom required when using the carrier. (In
particular car parks, garages etc.)

ASSEMBLY Slide two of the short “T” bolts (11) into the slot in the underside of the wheel channel (10) as shown in Fig. 2 Fig. 3 Fig. 2 Fit the base plate and support arm assembly (1 & 2) to the front end of the wheel channel as shown in Fig. 3. Using M6 nylon lock nuts (16) and M6 plain washers (17).
- Page 3 Fitting the Cycle Carrier to the Roof Bars Position the cycle carrier on the roof bars as required. Ensure that the 55mm “T” bolts are positioned one either side of the rear roof bar. Fit a clamp plate (14) to a “U” bolt (13) Fig. 7 and pass the bolt ends around the roof bar and up through the Base Plate (1) as shown in Fig.
