Attach LINKA to your bike using the two provided M5 mounting bolts. c. Installing using tiedown straps Align the slots in the inner ring of LINKA with the seat stays on your bike. Push tie down strap through desired slot and around the seat stay iii. Bring the open end of the tie down strap back through to the worm screw opening Tighten screw until there is little wiggle room left. Repeat step ii.iiv. on remaining seat stay. Tighten down both screws until LINKA is secured tightly onto your bike. 5.Turning on your device a. Hold down for 2 seconds. b. LED dome will begin blinking blue identifying that your device is now in discoverable mode. You will also hear an audible start up tone. Unlock in App 1. In the LINKA home page, simply press U nlock LINKA a nd watch your device unlock and change its status in the App. Unlock by button on LINKA 1. Doubletap the button on LINKA iii. Autounlock feature 1. When Autounlocking is activated, your device will be able to recognize as you approach. 2. Your device will begin unlocking when you’re within 35 ft (11.5 meters) from your bike. 3. CAUTION: Your device will unlock if this feature is activated. 4. Deactivate this feature if your usage characteristics entail being in and out of the bike vicinity often (Recommended). The Location feature allows you to see the most recent location your bike was parked. A simple click will even give you turn by turn directions! b. When turned on, you will receive an alert when your device battery reaches 30% or below. NOTE: If you are not in range of your device, you will receive a notification the next time you’re in range and your battery is 30% charge or below. f. LINKA Battery Critically Low Alert The Battery Critically Low Alert allows you to know when it is time to recharge your device. Tap the slide to toggle between ON and OFF. iii.

This is a security and convenience feature to prevent you from being stranded with a completely discharged battery. 16. Charging Your Device NOTICE: To prevent corrosion, thoroughly dry the microUSB port, the weather cap and the surrounding area before charging. The LINKA device is powered by a builtin lithiumion battery that you can charge using a standard wall outlet, a USB port on your computer or a portable battery pack. Hold down for 10 seconds while paired and connected or unlocked. iii. The device resets and turns on. b. Once your device is paired, the latest firmware stored in the App will update your device wirelessly if there are firmware specific updates available. iii.
