Exterior – Walk around vehicle; check for cleanliness, dents and scratches.
• Confirm tire pressure and oil level has been checked.
interior – Check for loose papers and cleanliness.
• Assure audio system is at appropriate level, driver's seat is back and tilt steering is in
the up position.
the Delivery – Walk around vehicle with customer; point out locking fuel filler door. Proceed
to rear hatch area.
q trunk – Use remote to open rear hatch. Demonstrate key operation. Point out large
opening and low loading height. Also locate:
• Hatch area light
• Spare tire/tools
• Emergency fuel filler door release
q Second row Seating – Use remote to open rear doors by pushing remote "unlock" selector
twice. Point out/demonstrate:
• Child-protector rear door lock
• Child seat anchors, seat tether
anchors and automatic locking seatbelts
q third row Seating (if equipped) – Demonstrate the third row seating feature.
• Entering and exiting third row
Exit third row, lock car with remote and proceed to Driver's area.
q Driver's Area – Use remote to open driver's door.
• Adjust seat
• Fasten seatbelt/adjust shoulder
belt anchor height
q Driver's door – Demonstrate/explain:
• Mirror switch – Have customer
adjust mirrors
• Bottle holder and indoor storage
• Remote locking fuel filler door release
• Auto-lock feature – Ask owner if they would like to have auto-lock feature activated.
Service Department activates this feature.
q Driver's controls (left to right) – Demonstrate:
• Instrument panel illumination switch
• Headlights (low/high/high beam flash)
• Wiper/washer controls
q Steering wheel controls – Demonstrate:
• Audio
q Gauges – Point out/explain:
• Tachometer
• Speedometer
q Warnings and indicators – Turn ignition to ON position; warning/indicator lights
will appear. After engine starts, lights will go out unless system detects a problem.

• Emergency trunk release
• Rear seat release levers – Demonstrate
• Center armrest, drink holders, door bottle
holders, storage areas, seat back storage
• Adjust steering wheel (tilt/telescopic)
• Adjust active headrest
• Present "Airbag Safety Brochure" and ask
customer to read it at their own convenience.
• Power windows/window lock/power door
locks/release – Explain to owner that doors
will automatically unlock in the event of an
accident in which the air bags deploy.
• ESC Electronic Stability Control
• Turn signals (left/right)
• Cruise control
• Fuel gauge
• Engine temperature gauge
