QLYX mount power ON/OFF Power ON: In OFF state, mount a smartphone on QLYX Mount (the button of BLE‐Module is released) to turn on the device and start connecting mode (in case this is the first connection between the smartphone and the QLYX mount: pairing mode). Note: connecting mode activates 30s startup timer. If the mobile device does not set the connection status during the timer, then QLYX Mount will turn off. Power OFF: o Option 1: in ON state, remove a smartphone from QLYX Mount (the button of BLE‐ Module is pressed) to start the shut‐off 5min timer. If during this 5‐minutes period smartphone is not mounted on the QLYX then QLYX Mount will turn OFF. Note 1: If a smartphone is mounted on the QLYX (the button is released) until the timer expires then QLYX stay ON state. Note 2: If the smartphone leaves the working range (disconnect of BLE) until the timer expires then QLYX turn OFF immediately. o Option 2: If in ON state QLYX disconnects BLE (lost connect) with the smartphone (the button of BLE‐Module is released) and can’t connect to the smartphone during 30 seconds then QLYX Mount will turn OFF. 3 Bluetooth LE (BLE) connection and control 1) First connection will be accompanied by a pairing mode. This is a mandatory item and it must be accepted on a smartphone by user (in case of such request from the operating system). 2) When device is connected to the phone (button is released), pressing the button and disconnecting BLE connection will result in immediate turn off of the QLYX. 3) When device is connected to the phone (button is released) disconnecting with released button will start the 30s timer which allows you to reconnect during this time otherwise the QLYX will turn off. ...

This recommendation is more relevant to the cold seasons. Since long‐term presence of a smartphone under a stream of hot air can cause its overheat as well as negatively affect properties of silicone 3M adhesive tape of the Q‐Plate. We do not recommend prolonged use of the device under direct sunlight or at temperatures above 50°C, as this can cause an overheating of the device and, in the course of time, lead to demagnetization and failure of QLYX holder. The QLYX is not waterproof, so avoid getting liquid or spray on it. Also, it is strongly advised not to operate the device continuously in conditions of constant humidity above 55‐60%, as this may cause a short circuit on the electrical board inside the device, and cause failure of the QLYX smart mount. Note that there is a Lithium battery CR2032 inside the device. We do not recommend to attach adhesive pad on the plastic surfaces under direct sunlight as it can negatively affect properties of silicone 3M adhesive tape. ...
