BEFORE USE

Before using the coffee maker, it is recommended to rinse off all parts and clean out the inside of the unit as
follows:
1. Pour 6 cups of water into the water tank.
2. Set nylon filter in funnel, empty, and replace water tank cover.
3. Place carafe on the warming plate.
4. Insert plug into outlet.
5. Press the "On/Off" button once and the red indicator light will illuminate. After a short while water will
start to drip through the coffee maker.
6. When the water stops dripping, dispose of and wash out the carafe with warm, soapy water. Rinse
thoroughly.
7. Press "On/Off" button twice to turn off.
