Small Part Warning • Your robot and accessories have small parts contained within them that may present a choking hazard to small children and pets. Keep your robots and accessories away from them. • If your robot is broken, gather all parts immediately and store them in a safe place away from small children. Flashing Light warning - Seizures, Blackouts and Eyestrain Some people may be susceptible to blackouts or seizures (even if they have never had one before) when exposed to flashing lights or light patterns (e.g., playing games or watching video). If you have experienced seizures or blackouts or have a family history of such occurrences, consult a physician before playing with your robots. Discontinue use of your robots and consult a physician if you experience headaches, blackouts, seizures, convulsions, eye or muscle twitching, loss of awareness, involuntary movement, or disorientation. To reduce risk of headaches, blackouts, seizures, and eyestrain, avoid prolonged use. play-i_user_en.indd 3 8/27/14 3:14 PM...

Battery Warning • Your robot contains a lithium battery which is extremely hazardous and can cause serious injuries to persons or property if removed or improperly used or charged. • Lithium batteries can be lethal if ingested or can cause life-altering injuries. If you suspect a battery has been ingested, see a physician immediately. • In the event of battery leakage, avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse copiously with cold water and consult a physician. • If your robot is charging and you notice a suspicious smell or noise or observe smoke around the robot, disconnect it immediately and turn off all sources of heat or flame. Gas could be given off which could cause a fire or explosion. • You are solely liable for ensuring that the lithium battery is used correctly (charging, discharging, storage, etc.). The manufacturer and distributor shall have no liability for injury or damage to persons or property associated with lithium battery use. play-i_user_en.indd 4 8/27/14 3:14 PM...

General Safety and Storage Warnings • Operating temperature – 0 to 30° C (32 to 90° F). • Exceeding operating temperature may increase fire risk. • Do not use your robot if it has been broken and the battery is exposed or compromised in any way. Never touch or contact any liquid from the battery or cross wires from the battery to avoid burns, shocks or fire. • Do not attempt to dismantle, pierce, distort, or repair your robot. Doing so may expose batteries or wiring. • Do not place any heavy objects on your robot. Doing so may cause it to break and expose batteries or wiring. • Do not attempt to clean your robot with solvent, denatured alcohol, or flammable solvents. Doing so may damage the surface of your robot, make your robot inoperable, or cause a fire. • Do not immerse your robot in water. Doing so may cause your robot to become inoperable. • Do not put your robot in a microwave oven or pressurized container. Doing so may cause a fire or cause the batteries to explode. play-i_user_en.indd 5 8/27/14 3:14 PM...
