ABOUT THE MANDATORY ALCOHOL INTERLOCK PROGRAM (MAIP) The MAIP is a program managed by Roads and Mari- the last 6 months of your interlock period, Roads & time Services designed for offenders convicted of high Maritime will advise you that your participation period range, repeat and other serious drink driving offences.
END OF THE PROGRAM PROCESS You will need to use the alcohol interlock device for a specific period of time (which will vary based on your offence). At regular intervals your data recorded by the interlock device will be downloaded and used to make decisions about whether your program requirements have been met and you have successfully completed the program.
PROGRAM VIOLATION SUMMARY REPORT If within a servicing period you reach a violation limit, the interlock device will display a countdown for 7 days during which you must return to a service centre for an unscheduled service. If the device is not serviced within this period and the countdown has expired your device will permanently lock out and an unlock code will be required.
