  • Page 4 Step 1 MEASURE SAW HEIGHT Measure saw height as shown in FIG 1 Step 2 FRAME ASSEMBLY A. Using measurement from Step 1. plus 1-3/16”, mea- sure down from the top of all 4 corner posts (D) and make a mark. Mount cross member (E) to corner post using (D) bolts (A) and nuts (B).
  • Page 5 Step 4 SQUARING FRAME ASSEMBLY A. Semi-tighten one bolt on each edge of front before squaring. B. Measure diagonally both ways on front of unit. Shift frame until measure- ments are equal. Then tighten middle and bottom nuts. (Fig. 4) C.
  • Page 6 Step 7 MOUNTING SHELVES A. Secure shelf (AA) on top, (BB) in middle and (CC) on bottom. Using bolts (C) & nuts (B), thumb tighten. B. Make sure frame is square (see step 4 for squaring instructions) then tighten shelf nuts until screw heads are flush.
  • Page 7 MOUNTING THE MITER SAW (FIG. 10) Step 1 WING & SHELF ADJUSTMENT A. Set saw onto stand and place a straight edge across the saw. B. If the top of the saw bed is not flush with the top of the wings loosen the nuts securing the top cross member (E) at one corner.
  • Page 8 F. If the top of the 2850 wings are not level with the planer wings, they can be adjusted by loosening the three screws in the wing support guide (L). Level the 2850 wing and tighten screws. Repeat for opposite wings.
