    AES Audio Sentinel ® + Web Installation and Operation Manual Product Overview The AES Audio Sentinel®+» Web is a web-enabled two channel AES/EBU silence monitor combined with an integrated 2x1 switcher. It is designed to monitor two AES audio sources, one primary, the other back-up. When silence is detected on the primary AES input it can automatically switch to the back-up AES input.

    AES Audio Sentinel ® + Web Installation and Operation Manual Remote Control Connections The AES Audio Sentinel® has four relay contact closure remote control outputs located on the two 8-position pluggable screw terminal blocks (TB2 top and bot- tom). The SPST Normally Open relay K6 and the SPDT relay K7 are used to repre- sent the status of the internal 2x1 AES/EBU audio switcher.

The slow blinking front panel “PWR/Heartbeat” LED indicates valid power and proper operation. The front panel equipped with push button controls and indicator LEDs.
